Stephen recently joined Work Market as the company’s Chief Executive. Prior to joining Work Market, Stephen served as a Senior Vice President and General Manager at Hewlett Packard. There he held multiple leadership roles including leading the Americas for the Personal Systems Group and as the worldwide leader for Enterprise Marketing. During Stephen’s 30+ years in the technology industry he has served on the senior staffs of industry leaders such as Sun Microsystems, Cisco Systems, and Symantec and has scaled multiple start-ups from the earliest stages, through dynamic growth to market leadership.
As President and CEO of Cobalt Networks, Stephen led the company from its market creating roots to a high profile IPO and ultimately a multi-billion dollar acquisition by Sun Microsystems. President and Co-Founder
Jeff serves as the company’s President and is a co-founder of Work Market. Jeff has a long track record as a successful entrepreneur across the technology and services landscape. He has successfully built and sold multiple tech companies, including SpinBack to Buddy Media, which was subsequently purchased by Salesforce.com for $800 million.
Jeff has a deep background and passion for talent management and is widely recognized as a thought leader on labor force evolution. He speaks regularly on the subject of modernizing workforces and the role of contingent labor and has been a contributing writer to Forbes on the topic. VP of Product
Grady is a product management executive with more than 20 years of software experience spanning consumer, enterprise, and platform technologies. He has a proven track record of developing innovative product concepts, identifying emerging market opportunities and delivering commercialized software successes.
Prior to joining Work Market, Grady served as Vice President of Product Management for Vonage where he led their mobile business strategy and product efforts. Before that, he served as VP of Product Management at Animoto, CEO of mobile content provider Phone Sherpa, and Director of internet jewelry retailer Blue Nile. Earlier in his career, Grady spent 9 years at Microsoft in various product and general management roles working on platform technologies and the first version of Microsoft’s Tablet PC. He holds a B.S.E in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.
James Chou is a enterprise software executive with more than 20 years of technology and engineering experience. Prior to joining Work Market, Chou served as Chief Technology Officer for Shutterstock where he led the company’s technology innovation strategy.
Before Shutterstock, Mr. Chou served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of American Greetings Interactive, the interactive media division of American Greetings Corporation. He’s also held leadership roles at Apple, Inc., JP Morgan Chase & Co., and Accenture Plc. He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from State University of New York at Buffalo and an M.B.A. from Duke University.
Tom Benton is a seasoned enterprise executive with more than 20 years of high-tech sales experience. Tom has a proven track record of optimizing high performance sales organizations to drive top-line growth. Prior to Work Market, Benton served as Global Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Salesforce.com, where he led the growth strategy for the Enterprise Business Unit and held global revenue responsibility for the HR and Employee Engagement Offering and the launch of Analytics Cloud.
Previously, he worked for Oracle, holding the positions of vice president of Sales, Strategic Growth Markets; vice president of Sales, North America Technology Organization; and senior director of Platform Solutions and Database Appliance.
