What work was meant to be.

It’s about making people’s lives better – whether your company is using Work Market to engage a distributed workforce, or you use the solution to find work, it’s all about changing the way business is done – one assignment at a time.

We care about you. We think about your day and ways to make it better. We want you to get the best jobs at the right places at the right time. We are helping build communities of profiled and vetted workers ready to do business, with ratings and reputation to give employers the confidence in making the decision.

We are Work Market.

Work Market was founded by Jeffrey Leventhal (CEO) and Jeffrey Wald (COO) in 2010 with a vision for helping bring freelancers, contractors and consultants together with companies and helping them manage work intelligently. We’ve built a solution that makes it easy for companies to find workers and deal with the complexities of freelance work. We have attracted world’s best venture capitalists, and even more grateful to have built a team of the best and brightest employees in the industry. All with one vision. Power the flexible workforce.

Along the way we’ve received some accolades, such as being honored by Forbes as one of America’s most promising companies. But more importantly we have put hundreds of thousands of people to work. To learn more about Work Market check out our timeline or the links below.
