Professional Services Manager

Work Market launched three years ago and has blazed a path in the labor market, signing up hundreds of big companies to our platform and staffing thousands of freelance and contractors daily. Backed by the venture capital firms behind Foursquare and Twitter, Work Market is a new platform providing businesses with access to an on-demand, scalable work force and the tools to manage internal employees, vendors and contractors.


The Professional Services Manager will drive our implementation strategy and be responsible for the delivery of implementation services to achieve high customer loyalty. 


The ideal individual will be intelligent, well organized, and be able to communicate effectively in a start-up environment.   He or she will help drive client loyalty, ensure speed of on-boarding, and assist in developing and on-demand implementation team.


  • Manage a portion of our implementation process, including the execution and daily tactical management of major accounts.
  • Manage the operational components including, forecasting, utilization, and on-demand resource management.
  • Ability to create, review and effectively demonstrate project and scope documentation with clients.
  • Work closely with the product and development team to ensure strategy and execution is aligned.
  • Demonstrate an ability to effectively manage customer expectations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the sales team to assist in customer deliverables.




  • Position is based out of our Huntington NY office.
  • Diplomacy and a willingness to learn and keep up to date with our software to ensure smooth client acceptance and change management.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver on detail as well as strategy.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and distinctly explain technology and business concepts.
  • Experience with software implementations and personal accountability for delivering on time and cost.
