NEW YORK (June 7, 2016) – Work Market, the leading provider of on-demand labor software to the enterprise, today announced that it has expanded its leadership team by welcoming renowned marketing executive Marcella (Marcy) Shinder as chief marketing officer (CMO). Drawing on a track record of success in leading transformational business outcomes through customer-focused strategies, Shinder’s experience will be crucial in driving Work Market’s continued expansion and growing its position as a leader in on-demand workforce management.
Shinder joins Work Market following her tenure as CMO of Nielsen (NLSN), where she led the company’s worldwide marketing function including global brand strategy, digital and social, creative, industry relations, global positioning and sales force enablement, product marketing and events. Prior to Nielsen, Shinder spent 18 years with American Express, holding multiple executive positions including vice president/head of the OPEN Brand and vice president /general manager, Product Management. There she received numerous awards and recognition for her marketing expertise and results including for her work championing small business owners and women entrepreneurs.
